Psalm 146 (ESV)
Praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord, O my soul!
2 I will praise the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.
3 Put not your trust in princes,
in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation.
4 When his breath departs, he returns to the earth;
on that very day his plans perish.
5 Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob,
whose hope is in the Lord his God,
6 who made heaven and earth,
the sea, and all that is in them,
who keeps faith forever;
7 who executes justice for the oppressed,
who gives food to the hungry.
The Lord sets the prisoners free;
8 the Lord opens the eyes of the blind.
The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down;
the Lord loves the righteous.
9 The Lord watches over the sojourners;
he upholds the widow and the fatherless,
but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin.
10 The Lord will reign forever,
your God, O Zion, to all generations.
Praise the Lord!

How Can I Praise You?
How can I praise you, Lord?
Is it the words I say?
Is it the songs I sing?
Is it the melodies in my heart alone?
Blessed are those
Whose faith is forever
Blessed are those
Who defend the wronged
Blessed are those
Who feeds the hungry
Blessed are those
Who sing this song
You break the chains
That enslave and bind
Set free the captives
Give sight to the blind
Lift up the fallen
Protect the strangers
Care for the widows
Upholding those without fathers
How can I praise you, Lord?
It is more than words I say
It is more than songs I sing
It is more than melodies in my heart
How can I praise you, Lord?
It's to love and serve you
And love others
And serve them for you
These Psalms are so inspirational, on a day that I'm already feeling so good, so blessed, and so grateful.
God just blows my mind everyday. I love to serve, and He's provided me with a life where I get to serve the people I love the most.
You break the chains
That enslave and bind
Set free the captives
Give sight to the blind
He most certainly does, and I am so incredulous that He wanted to do that for me.
